Truck Starter One
of my "electronics toys" I get a lot of fun out of is installed on my pickup.
It is a remote control starter. I got this because I'm not a "morning"
person at all, and on cold mornings, I can start my pickup from inside
the house to warm it up and defrost the windshield for me while I get ready
for work. I
occasionally have a little fun out of it when parked in parking lots and
there are "victims" nearby. After pushing the button on the remote,
the pickup honks the horn first (this is supposed to let me know it has
received the signal, but it works great to get peoples attention), then
the parking lights come on and the truck starts! Imagine the funny
looks people have on their faces when a vehicle with nobody in it, honks
at them and then cranks up! I have actually had crowds of people
standing around it scratching their heads, as well as some that just had
to look inside the window to see who's pulling the funny stuff, only to
find nobody's inside and there's not even any keys in the ignition!
