- Here it is after our first work on the body. We started with the rust around the side vents. Typical of these bugs with them. We dug out all the foam inside that section of the quarter panel, and cut out all the rust. Then we used sheet metal and filler to finish the job. Yeah....I know this is not stock. But this car is a daily driver, and it does not have a garage to live in. So we preferred to deviate from stock on this because these side vents let water in which causes the rust. So hopefully we won't have this coming back on us.
